Infused Olive Oil
Everyone knows the holidays are the busiest time of year for most people, and with that a whole lot of cooking is involved. So what better gift is there to give someone than something they can use on a regular bases?!
The great thing about this DIY gift again is that it is so customizable. You can infuse the olive oil according to the individual with jalapeños, basil, rosemary, chili and garlic, and so forth.
To make simply add olive oil to a pot with the infusion ingredients of your choice. Let simmer for 20 minutes without boiling the oil.
Once cooked, strain the oil from the rest of the ingredients into the jars of your choice. Seal with an airtight lid and voila!
This idea also applies to anything you can think of infusion. For example, you can make your own infused gin, vodka, homemade limoncello, etc. Any of these would make a perfect holiday gift for everyone to enjoy!
Bath Salts
What better way to say you care about someone than giving them homemade bath salts?!
With the holidays being as stressful as they are, bath salts are a nice touch to have your close one wind down and take some time to relax. In our busy lives, self care is just as important.
This special but super easy gift can be created in 20 minutes or less.
All you need is epsom salt, sea salt, baking soda, essential oils, and dried rose petals or lavender (if you choose to add that).

Sugar Scrubs
Everyone likes to pamper themselves sometimes and sugar scrubs make it possible.
DIY sugar scrubs are a great idea for those who like the idea of a pamper without necessarily the time to set it aside. This is also great for those who don’t have or like to take a bath.
Sugar scrubs are another super easy and fun gift for all friends and family.
All you need is brown sugar, oil such as coconut, grapeseed, or jojoba, vanilla extract or essential oils, and mason jars to put them in!

Cookies in a Jar
Cookies in a jar is another great and easy DIY holiday gift for friends and family.
Instead of giving people a handful of pre-made cookies this gift entails including all of the necessary ingredients to make said cookies in a mason jar.
All the receiver would need to do is just add eggs and water!
One of my favorite holiday cookies are cowboy cookies.
The ingredients to make those are as follows:
- 1 ⅓ cups rolled oats
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
